Real World Scenario

Bob is an electrician, he just finished a job at a client's home that left a few drywall cutouts. 

Bob sends a referral to John

  • Bob adds all of the client’s contact and project information like photos, description etc.
  • He sets his referral fee to 10% and sets a 24 hour window for John to accept the lead.

John accepts the referral

  • Bob adds all of the client’s contact and project information like photos, description etc.
  • He sets his referral fee to 10% and sets a 24 hour window for John to accept the lead.

John finishes the project

  • Once John finishes the project and bills the customer he uploads her invoice with the final amount.
  • In this example project total was $1,000
  • John pays Bob $100 (the 10% referral fee) for the lead.
  • 2% system fee deducted from Bob’s payout

John gets the lead and pays 10% referral fee ($100)

Real World Example

Bob is an electrician, he just finished a job at a client's home that left a few drywall cutouts. 


Bob told the client upfront this was to be expected and that someone else would need to be hired behind him to patch and paint the walls. 


With RevLink Bob can easily send this potential job to a trusted member of his network, in this case John. This saves the homeowner from having to try to find a random company and Bob can earn extra revenue from delivering the lead. 


Bob sends the lead directly to John.  If John views the lead and decides it sounds like a good fit he can contact the homeowner directly and setup the project with them.


Once John has completed the job and been paid by the homeowner he will pay Bob for the lead through the app and they continue to grow their lead and referral network.  

Common Questions

Do I have to prepay for leads? What if the job falls through?

No, you do not prepay for leads with RevLink! A common pain point we felt when using other apps was paying upfront for leads that you may never land, in fact, other apps send the same lead to multiple people so statistically you are guaranteed to not land every lead you pay for. This is a bad experience for everyone (except the wallet of the app) and something we want no part of.

How do you ensure people will pay for their leads?

We have multiple fraud flags we monitor on the back-end to remove users not behaving professionally, and the system works on a “3 strikes and you're out” principal. Once you have been kicked off the platform you are banned for life.



The idea with RevLink is for you to build a solid referring network and continue to do business with other professionals on a constant basis. The ability to remove the gamble from leads is huge, and that in part relies on the - pay for lead only after you've completed and been paid for the job - method. If someone is found to be not paying for leads they landed, they will be banned from the app, which is a permanent loss to a great source of no-risk leads and stronger networks.

Can I set my own referral fee? Can it be different for different people, and projects?

Yes, you can set a custom referral rate/amount for each lead you send.

What if I have questions about the lead before I accept it?

You can easily use the in-app chat feature on a per-project basis to ask questions, get more pictures, or anything else you need before accepting.
